Sister Gathering

Figures stand shoulder to shoulder in magenta and deep green, close enough that the eye reads them as one body before it separates them into individuals. That double reading is the heart of the piece: togetherness first, and only then the people who make it.
The paint is worked thickly and moved while wet, leaving texture that shifts with the light through the day. Acrylic on multimedia paper, available in two sizes and signed by the artist.
